Took a train to Venice for the day! Hopped on the 7am train from Milan to Venice, ready for a day that felt like stepping into a dream. First stop was a charming Italian café, where we fuelled up with rich espresso macchiatos and delicious pistachio croissants. With that boost of energy, we wandered through the winding canals and narrow, sun-dappled streets—getting blissfully lost together. The day ended in the most magical way, gliding through the water on a gondola, Venice’s beauty surrounding us. By 6pm, we were back on the train, sweaty and tired, but hearts full from the whirlwind adventure of the day 🛶⚓️

Love, despite the distances that may exist, love always wins, and that's how the love of melitagarciafigueras and José won, and they made it forever on August 31, 2024, at the Church of Ntra. Sra. del Rosario, Arsenal de la Carraca in San Fernando (Cadiz). Melita told me that she and José knew each other since they were little, as their parents are great friends. They were always friends in the same group, but it wasn't until 2017 that they started talking more and having a closer relationship. José was in his third year at the Military Academy in Zaragoza, and she was in her second year of university in Madrid. They always tried to see each other on weekends in one city or another, and even though they traveled many kilometers, they were happy because their love was stronger. She told me that it wasn't until José was finally assigned to Madrid that they started their life together, and seven years later, they said "I do" forever. It was a wedding with values deeply rooted in family, love, friendship, and Andalusian art, the light of Cadiz, and especially for the celebration at the Bodegas de Osborne in El Puerto de Santa María.
Melita's dress is by Silvia Fernández, a simple, elegant dress with details that make it different yet very romantic. The bodice of the dress is made of plumeti fabric with long sleeves and a fitted body, with an open V-back and buttoned, which connects with very delicate lace with a cape that blends with the dress, also made of plumeti, just like the fabric of the sleeves and bodice, and a flowing skirt with a long train that intermingles with the cape, giving it that romantic touch. What characterizes it and makes it different is the touch of the very Andalusian hat, giving it that flamenco and Spanish artistry. And I cannot forget to mention that Melita told me she wore her grandmother's earrings and mantilla, which are very special as they are a family heirloom of many years, and she wanted to wear them on this very special day.
